Centra Wellness Network (CWN) is a Community Mental Health Service Provider and has a goal is to offer placement, training, and supervision for interns, and to provide experience, learning opportunities, and support for individuals who may desire to enter the behavioral health field.
CWN offers a variety of clinical programming opportunities, from prevention services to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Part of the clinical internship includes orienting to programs the intern will participate in to ensure comprehensive understanding of the components within the community mental health services program. About Us
The Northwest Michigan Community Health Innovation Region (CHIR) Behavioral Health Initiative (BHI) was launched in June, 2021 to respond to the spiraling behavioral health crisis in the region. Across all 10 counties in the region, children, youth and families experience significant barriers when attempting to access services and too few equitable opportunities exist for enhancing well-being and resiliency.
This website is the work of the Recruit Behavioral Health Providers Action Team, one of the 12 Northwest CHIR’s BHI Action Teams that are working to increase access to quality behavioral health services and enhance well-being and resiliency across the region.
